Alara Akkamış, Dip.ASA, ISAR CAP, mAPAI Alara Akkamış is a certified professional astrologer who has been practicing since 2015. Born and raised in Istanbul, Türkiye, she has been based in Rome, Italy, since 2021. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Galatasaray University through a dual diploma program with Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Digital Communication, completed in Rome. Alara began her formal astrological education in 2015 with Barış Özkırış, undertaking three years of training in astropsychology and Uranian astrology. She subsequently completed a further three-year program in classical and traditional astrology at the AstroArt School of Astrology (ASA), under Öner Döşer, in Turkey. She holds a CAPISAR competency certificate and continues to pursue advanced training, including studies at Kepler College. She is also continuing the OPA certification process, which she began in 2023. Her practice integrates Hellenistic and modern astrology bringing ancient techniques into dialogue with contemporary perspectives. Her principal areas of specialization include predictive astrology and Hellenistic timing techniques, electional astrology, relationship astrology and astromapping. She works with a range of traditional and modern timing techniques to explore significant life cycles and periods of change. Through electional astrology, she helps clients select suitable times for important undertakings, while her astromapping work explores the relationship between place, personal experience, and planetary symbolism. Astropsychology provides a complementary framework for understanding emotional patterns, motivations and behavior. One of her greatest passions is studying and reinterpreting ancient astrological texts within the philosophical frameworks of their time, connecting their insights with contemporary thought and questions. Drawing on her academic background in philosophy, Alara brings philosophical inquiry into both the theory and practice of astrology. She explores how to ask meaningful questions through the perspectives of both past and present, grounding her work in an ongoing dialogue between astrology and philosophy. Alongside her consultation practice, she teaches a comprehensive three-year astrology program in Turkish and devotes much of her time to writing, research, and the study of historical and philosophical sources. Alara is a member of OPA (Organization for Professional Astrology), ISAR (International Society for Astrological Research), and AA (The Astrological Association). She also serves as a Council Member of the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI). She supports ISAR’s research initiatives as a member of the Research Community Managers Group and as Team Representative of the Bibliography Group. She has presented at ISAR’s Star Club with a talk titled “Emotion, Thought, and Behavior through the Lens of Astropsychology.” Her consultations include natal chart interpretation, predictive analysis, electional astrology, horary astrology, relationship astrology, and astromapping (astrocartography, local space, ccg). Sessions are conducted via Zoom in Turkish or English, with a recording provided afterward. She is fluent in Turkish, English, French and Italian and shares her work through articles, educational content, and various digital platforms. Contact and platforms

Alexey Borealis (also known under the pseudonym Mark Rusborn) is a predictive astrologer, researcher and educator whose work redefines the conventional understanding of astrology.

With a focus on precision and a scientific approach, he specializes in forecasting events — often down to the exact day — demonstrating that astrology can be not only symbolic but a practical tool. Holding a Master’s degree in theoretical physics, Alexey’s scientific background profoundly shapes his rigorous approach.

His methods are rooted in the deep analysis of 17th-century predictive techniques — above all the system of Jean-Baptiste Morinus — which he translates, tests and adapts for modern application. A large part of his work is mathematical statistics and the testing of methods on large datasets. He is the author of several books and textbooks, including Forbidden Art. Self-Teaching Guide to Horary Astrology and Mysteries of Medieval Astrology, which have become essential resources for professional astrologers.

He is a sought-after speaker at international conferences, including ISAR, OPA and ASPAS. Today his primary focus is consulting, private teaching and mentoring professional astrologers. He founded the Morinus school and builds specialised astrology software for research and large-scale calculations. His approach excludes mysticism and psychological interpretations in favour of verifiable, objective predictions.

• Specialties: predictive forecasting, consultations, teaching & supervision, astrology software, statistical research
